Places that treat you better and PAY MORE that might be hiring rn? I'm exhausted and need a better way.

I became a school bus driver about 2 months before lock down. Once you learn the city and schools, it becomes a really chill job. Unless the kids are crazy.
Pay is ok at 19 an hour. Defently one of the most laid back jobs I have had. Which maybe says something about my jobs.

I'm a cook working for a catering company now. Started out with four dollars more pay and cheaper benefits. Good luck, partner!

Being a waitress has been amazing for me.

Check out apartment complexes! The pay is good and hours are consistent.

I’m a barista at a local grocery store kiosk; FWIW check if they are hiring any positions Bc on top of the pretty good pay there’s a $2/hr “hero” pay bonus thing. Can’t hurt to apply.

I've been between jobs since leaving the bean overlords but I currently work as a package handler. This job is especially great for me personally because I'm autistic. I have sensory processing and executive function issues so I thrive off of the routine I have with this job. Part time job, same hours 5 days a week, starting pay is $11 and at most I work 10 hours each week but I still live at home so it's not awful. I'm hoping to go full time and save up to move out hopefully. Hope this helps!

Target has made the $2 “hero pay” increase permanent! Tarbucks baristas at my store are making like $15 now. Store work isn’t too terrible either!

I second this one! I love my Tarbucks. I have made the very difficult decision to move on (public transportation in a pandemic is a nightmare, I got hired at a place i can walk to) and i am very upset that I have to say goodbye..

I have heard a lot of baristas move on to bartending. Memorizing drink recipes, getting the drinks out in a timely fashion, being able to deal with unreasonable customers are all part of that job. If you are friendly, you get crazy tips.

I worked at (and have been working for) a Publix in the Lakeland district (once more) since last September. I make more money than a shift supervisor at sbux, and get more hours. The job is physically harder working in the grocery department (particularly overnight stocking) but recently I got into doing scan price. So I’m overcoming another learning curve, but I’m confident I can handle it. The store I work at is good at training their people, so all in all, it’s been a good move for me.
