Sorry, gotta get this off my chest
263**** here, my manager asked me what I plan on doing with the company and I told him I want to move up, I’m a shift rn and he asked if there was anything that might make me leave and I told him that if I don’t have the chance at a promotion by 2023 I’m 100% leaving because I’ve already been with the company for almost 2 years and I just finished my shift training, and I may be in the National Guard but that doesn’t mean I don’t want a career at the company, I love Starbucks and hope to become a manager at my own store and cultivate a great team but honestly I see how the company fucks over a lot of partners and I’m not trying to be one of them.
P.s my manager asked the question due to the fact that I just finished my shift training.

I was with the company for 3 years and became a shift my first year. Spent the next 2 years working my ass off to become a asm and they just dicked me around until I ended up just quitting. 🙄
