For sure stop by! Hiring freeze is not at all stores and it won’t last forever. Come in, talk, introduce yourself. When that SM needs somebody you will be the first person to call :)

Long story shooorrttt:

Moved.

Wanted to get a job at starbucks again, but hiring freeze.

Store manager said come in and we will chat.

Store manager emailed me tonight saying they will try and say hi, and apologized for getting my hopes up, but to stop by.

Should I stop by?

If you're really interested, I would say go in and say hi! It can't hurt to say hi! Show the store manager that you're interested. My store manager tells people that if they want to get hired when the hiring freeze is over, to keep coming by, to keep calling, to keep reminding him how interested they are. It's a good thing to show you want the job, to get to know the store and the store manager.

Thank you. That means a lot to me and gives me hope.

Of course! I wanted to add too that if you don't have another job at the moment, don't wait around for Starbucks if you need money now. I'm not sure they even know when the hiring freeze will be over at this point. But otherwise, just do your best to make a good impression with the store manager, just be yourself! Best of luck to you!

Well, I went in. Asked the barista for the SM by name, he said yeah! She's right here at the window! He went to her, came back to me, kind of stuttered and said 'cccan you come back some other day?'

I'm just..i really wish it worked out since I woke up at 530 to get ready and be there a little after they opened.
