Oh! It works! I've done it before. Steam lemonade with a scoop or two of the ginger powder, put like 4 honeys in a short cup and put a tiny amount of the steamed ginger lemonade in and mix vigorously to incorporate the honey. Add the rest in and sip. Helped my stomach ache and my sore throat! The effect is pretty instantaneous too! Even with the sugar I absolutely recommend!
