My manager always tells me she is leaving and will be back in "5 minutes" then goes to screw around with her friends from other departments in the grocery store, smokes, and wastes time in the office. I feel your pain. I know how terrible it is to be alone for upwards of 2 hours during a closing shift.

Yea we’re insanely busy right now hopefully when the corporate store opens up we’ll go back to normal. I bust my ass and I’m tired of it. People can wait. I’m only one person and Starbucks isn’t a fast food restaurant.

I heard grocery store customers are awful. I talked to the barista in my local Kroger and she said people complain about the prices being different than in corporate stores. She also works her whole shift alone and often people come through and try to rush her when their order consists of 4 different custom Frappuccinos
