a customer this morning ordered a hot chocolate and then as soon as they got to our bar there was a drink being put up and the name was called and they just grabbed it and walked away (there were 2 people waiting who came before then) and then that customer comes back like 2 hours later and is like ‘is this a hot chocolate’ and i’m like no it’s a caramel macchiato, you took the wrong drink this morning. and they just stared at me so i said we’d make the hot chocolate but next time to make sure the one they’re grabbing is actually theirs which makes sense ?? no? like how do you not realize that most of the time if there are 2 people in front of you you’ll get your order third?

and then after that this customer comes into the store through our exit only door which like you can’t miss bc we have a huge sign basically blocking that door and so i said you know that’s our exit only door and they go ‘oh i’m just here for a pick up’ and i’m like yes i get that but that’s still our EXIT ONLY door and they kept saying they’re just there for a pickup and so i said next time they have to come through the mall doors and stand by the sign that says MOBILE LINE UP and the customer sorta apologized but was rude about it.

like i understand things are different now with the pandemic but it doesn’t mean people can do whatever they want and expect to get away with it or just be rude to workers (like both of these people were super rude and rolled their eyes at me like sry i’m just trying to keep physical distancing in check)
