Same, most people wore mask today but one dick bag even after everyone in the store told him to put a mask on and we offered a mask to him he still didn’t but one of my coworkers said NEXT TIME YOU NEED TO WEAR A MASK IT’S MANDATORY.

If it’s mandatory then you can, and honestly fuck DM’s they aren’t there with people coming in or interacting with them so if they come in without a mask tell them they must wear a mask period & if they don’t have one then offer them one of the mask we have.

Well it just started at my store & honestly everyone who came in today was either wearing a mask or when we asked they went & got a mask & if they didn’t have one we offered them one of ours. There was only one person who came in who was an ass hat about it but he didn’t cause a scene he just didn’t put a mask on & one of my co-workers told him next time he comes in he needs to wear a mask because it’s mandatory. Also I’ve got some pretty badass shifts who won’t put up with people’s shit & will tell them to leave if they cause a scene & call the cops if necessary.

I absolutely hate that Starbucks hasn’t made it mandatory because other businesses have even when there wasn’t a mandatory mask order in place in their areas. It’s absolute bullshit that Starbucks made it mandatory for us to wear mask even when stores were closed & the paid leave was still going on but they will open up the cafes & not make it mandatory for customers to wear one 🤦🏻‍♀️ they want to make the customer feel safe but fuck the employees just put up a piece of plastic it will stop the virus from getting to them 🙄

I’m sorry about that & yea we got those wacky people here also so I know what you mean. I don’t know how big your store is and how many people are allowed into your store total then your shift or SM needed to tell them that they needed to wait outside because they were exceeding the amount of people allowed in store. Just keep wearing your mask and stay safe.

Not my SM’s they have told people straight up they cannot come in without a mask 😂 you can do it in a firm but polite way like you do with toddlers. We still get those people coming in without a mask saying they are just picking up their mobile or whatever and we just say you still need to wear a mask it’s mandatory which is why we have signs up saying you need to.

True, but the vast majority of our customers have been really good about it so far except for a couple of Karen’s saying they are just getting their mobiles, some old folks acting as if they can’t read the signage, & people just whole heartedly forgetting and getting a mask to wear. I live in Florida & we are just now getting our spike like in New York because we got a shitty governor who is nothing but a mini trump and is leaving the face mask mandate up to the mayors of each city.

I wish that it had been that way from the beginning because Florida is just now hitting its peak. Most customers so far have been pretty good about wearing them. We still have the Karen’s, old people, & people genuinely forgetting but when asked they will wear them.

There is a sign on the front door and up front I was just up front waiting to start my shift when my ASM put them up.

The sign could be designed to slap people in the face and they still wouldn’t read it tbh

Sorry, we reopened before the mandate got put into place also which pissed me off and a bunch of other people I work with but the mayor finally put one in place cause Florida cases are spiking in mass numbers.

You need to report them to corporate and to your states board of health, because if it’s mandatory within your area and people are coming without mask on then that’s breaking the law & so is your SM. It is your job to enforce people coming into your place of work to wear a mask because you and everyone who works there is at risk because those stupid fucks aren’t wearing mask. Fuck your SM because they are never there any fucking way & when they are there they sit in the back doing nothing and leave two hours later. You need to report them to corporate & to your local & state government because your SM that’s probably never there is putting you guys at risk.

Legally you can because it’s mandatory by law period. If they are eating or drinking something that’s one thing but if I have to wear a mask while sitting in the store then they do as well. You can tell them politely “hey could you please wear your mask while you hanging out” and if they want to say something you can tell them it’s mandatory for all places where you cannot social distance & the same rules apply to you also whether you’re working or not. I don’t know who told you that you can’t say anything but they are lying because you can, my shift did today anytime someone came in without a mask or they came in to sit down and do work, they were all asked by my shift & ASM to wear a mask so whoever said you can’t say anything is a liar.

Then you have every right to report them to the state and to corporate if there is a mandate within your town. We’ve been telling people left & right that they need to wear a mask & they cannot come in without a mask on period.

Ohh my store did, my ASM was sitting up in the front working told every person who came in they needed to wear a mask. We still have those Karen’s who tried coming in and saying “I’m just in here to pick up my mobile” and we’re all like YOU STILL NEED TO WEAR A MASK ITS MANDATORY. We aren’t being rude about it we are just telling people in a firm way that they need to wear a mask and point out the signage on the door & at the register.

Yea we don’t require it for drive thru but there are a lot of customers who do wear a mask when in the drive thru which i highly appreciate.
