no, they came through drive afterwards and told us they wanted a matcha water. we just told them to call the store for that because there is no button on the mobile app

Don’t know why you’re being downvoted. It’s on the recipe card and the app that matcha lemonades get water! This is how you have to order a matcha water if you insist on doing it via the app.

Actually there’s a way to customize it on the app where you can add “extra water” and “no lemonade.” At least that way you know what they want. I’d suggest that to them next time, but *also*, it just took a bit of extra time customizing on the app and that customer would’ve figured it out.

Matcha lemonades are half water, half lemonade, and matcha. Matcha lemonades with no lemonade is just water and matcha. Good for them for ordering it like this instead of coming in the store and asking for a cup of water add matcha powder.

They are ordered so rarely that I don’t think a single barista at my location ever remembers how to make them, off the top of their head. Same with blended strawberry lemonades.

I read this and immediately thought, oh they just want a plain matcha with a pump of vanilla. Is it really that crazy?..
