My roommate has been exposed to someone with covid, and taking precautionary measures, I was like “oh okay I need to self-quarantine”.
Contacted my SM to let them know, said that since “you’re not showing symptoms, you have to come to work”
Like. They JUST FOUND OUT. I’m so over Starbucks’ “safety guidelines” because at the end of the day they don’t give a shit about your health or people around you.

Yeah definitely call partner resources just to make sure. I do not trust any DM or SM at Starbucks sorry not sorry lol

Call your DM and Partner resources!!! I’m pretty sure on the covid check in this is one of the questions and you’re supposed to stay home!

According to my SM she contacted my DM about it, but it’s definitely worth a call to partner resources.

Contact local heath department too! This happened with my mom and the heath department put her out of work.... a week later she tested positive.

If your roommate was showing symptoms you would have to self isolate. They removed the third party contact self isolation precaution a while back.

Yeah that’s the issue, I think. She was just exposed so there are no clear symptoms, and she hasn’t been tested (yet).

Yeah I totally understand how frustrating this is. My sister came home from Ireland and she needed to self isolate but I live with her and my store manager said I still had to come to work

They don’t really take into account people around you, or the fact that if you’re not a “high risk,” the people you live might be a high/er risk. Like. Both my bf and my roommate have asthma. They are certainly more susceptible.

jfc y’all Im sorry to hear that :( in my area we shut out stores down and were told to self isolate. Hope y’all will be able to do that. It’s not worth the risk!!
