A Venti (ridiculous) (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by emitate
So I’ve finally decided to rant about a story I think many baristas can relate to on here. I was on mobile bar during my shift when I get an order with the name “SevenGrandeIceWaters”. I was already a bit annoyed with the Frappuccinos in that order but I went ahead and made the seven grande iced waters as many customers put there name like that when they want water and don’t wanna ask. So this dude shows up about a half hour later and I start handing him the carriers full of water and he said “I only wanted one”. My heart sank. I had made SEVEN iced waters. Just to find out he only needed one. He said he had no clue why it said seven and decided to be a Karen about the situation acting like it was my fault for making 7 and it wasn’t his problem even though his name did say seven. Anyhow thanks for hearing my venti :)

That sucks! I usually just ignore weird names like that and make exactly what’s on the sticker. If they want a water, they should order that when they arrive. We can’t be expected to make whatever the customer put as their name.

In that situation I dont make the water's. No fucks given dude. If you're coming in to pick up the water you can either ask the barista on front or maybe use a water bottle or buy a water or anything.

Nope. No water for you just because the "name" says water.

So annoying!! Not the same, but reminded me of a mobile regular at my old store who’s name is K Half Shot Only. Wouldn’t always ask the barista on bar if it was only half a shot before grabbing it, and makes you remake it if it tasted like more
