There was a moment yesterday where I was gonna be alone on bar for forty minutes with a line of cars wrapping around the building and a line of people out the door. In that moment I realized that the cavalry wasn't coming. I was to face the crowd alone. I have rarely felt as helpless as I did in that moment.

Starbucks wants to have it's cake and eat it too. They want to boost sales while cutting hours. I understand that the economy is tanking, I understand that Starbucks generally treats us better than other similar companies. That being said, if you must do happy hour, make sure that you have the partners to do it.

Either pause happy hour, or insure you have proper staff.
