This iced coffee tastes like crap and I don’t know why (self.starbucksbaristas)

The iced coffee bags usually fill up almost double the amount of the filter as pike or dark, but these bags had a “normal” amount of coffee (equivalent of 3 scoops of pike). Has anyone else encountered this, and what do I do about it?

There are two different bag sizes. We’ve gotten the wrong ones before. The 9oz bags are the regular ones that make two pitchers. The smaller ones (i think they are 5oz maybe) only makes half as much. If you are using the smaller ones by mistake it’s essentially going to make half a batch so making it like a full batch will taste like dog shit.

Wait wtf, two pitchers? Was I trained horribly or does my starbucks have no idea what we’re doing... 9 oz bags make one pitcher I thought. Half brew with ice in the pitcher.

So with the larger size (normal) bags you brew half pot, split it into two pitchers (1 liter each), fill the rest with ice, leaving you with 4 liters of iced coffee.

Yeah evidently. Too bad my manager just put in her letter of resignation smh. Might be worth noting I work at a small starbucks in a safeway.
