If I could Clone a Customer... (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by coffeesuccs
I work in a Krobucks, and it’s been insane since the Pandemic started, being that until now we’ve been the only open Starbucks In the area. In a very busy tourist town. Non-stop madness and it’s finally getting back to our normal customer traffic flow, since the Corporate store across the street reopens, and hopefully stays open. Anyways, yesterday a Nice Lady, wearing her mask, genuinely thanked me for her coffee, “you don’t know how much this coffee means to me, I appreciate you so much. Thank you” if I could clone her and send her to every barista I would. Folks like her make me feel so much better about my job.

Sometimes when a customer is so nice, it makes me want to cry
KingDuck7 3 points 3y ago
We’d take a clone of her at my store with open arms

That sounds a lot like where I live. I'm also in a tourist town working in a Corp store across the street from a Krobucks. I always wonder if it's better in a cafe store than in a drive store since I'm a green bean (I know both have pros and cons but drive is so scary to me sometimes.)

I really love my job most days and feel overall when people show up to work, and do their part... it’s a great job. After being apart of this sub I don’t think I’d go to corporate.
