So a store about an hour away from mine is one COVID positive partner away from closing and my ASM and store manager have been asking partners at my store to go take shifts there without telling us they are exposed to COVID. Myself and a few other partners found out today through one of our shifts that the store is exposed. Our ASM took a shift at that store and exposed herself to COVID, and then right after her shift she came to our store and told us she didn’t feel well. Myself and one other partner have family members who are disabled and would die from COVID. Many of our partners (including me) have asthma or other problems that give us a higher chance of fatality due to COVID. We are all so mad this happened and are unsure what to do. It’s absolutely ridiculous that they didn’t warn us that the store had COVID before asking us to take shifts. If anyone else has had a similar situation please let me know what you did!

I think it’s illegal not to tell? I would report to either the city or town you’re in.

You make it sounds like that store is diseased. Like the actual building. Covid can’t survive on surfaces for super long and if they do even min cleaning at night, they would still clean all the counters and stuff that partners touch. Just because one partner has Covid, doesn’t mean the whole store has it.

There are at least 5 positive partners at that store. The other partners at that store have been exposed to covid and could possibly carry it. My ASM who went and worked there has worked at our store after and also came in to our store.

this literally happened at my store. there’s only a few of us that know the store near ours closed due to covid. i found out through a shift who heard it privately from our manager, but she hasn’t told anyone and still expects our staff to go work at that store

It’s so disgusting that they are making us go to exposed stores without our knowledge
