When she’s already order 4 pink drinks, and 4 Iced Caramel Macchiatos upside with extra drizzle, and then proceeds to order frapp after frapp.. (yes this happened to me today. 14 drinks in total. Why Karen.. why? (i.redd.it)

Probably because most Karens haven't worked in the service industry. So they either don't know or don't Kare that they're making work harder plus making every other customer wait longer

Edit: oh yeah and at last week's happy hour one ultra-Karen used three separate accounts to mobile order TWENTY EIGHT fucking drinks

Don’t forget complaining because it’s takes “too long” to make her iced quad espressos with 8 pumps white mocha, 8 pumps toffee nut, sweet cream, salted sweet cream with cinnamon blended in cinnamon dolce toppings and extra *extra* caramel drizzle. Karen.. that’s not even espresso at that point. It’s a metric shit ton sugar and cream with a micro-aftertaste of coffee. Then naturally complaining that “it needs to be remade because it doesn’t look right” without even tasting it.

Ugh and isn’t it great when they don’t come for their mobile for at least 20-30 mins and then you have to remake everything?

I'm so glad I work at a smaller store. Roughly 70% of our customers are pleasant regulars who know exactly what they want and if they have a big order they at least tip. The worst days are the weekends for us when all the non-regulars decide they all want Starbucks at the EXACT same time.

I truly envy you. I’m at a store right of the highway. Close to the border of my state. So we have traffic 24/7. Good thing is work goes by quick. Bad end is we literally never have more than 5 minutes of peace.
