2 week notice (self.starbucksbaristas)

Soo, long story short I’ve been dealing with so much things outside of work and I don’t need anymore stress at the moment so I decided to put my 2 weeks in tomorrow. However, technically it’s a 12 week notice since I’ve been trying to put it in for 2 days now. So tomorrow is definitely the day but I’m a nervous wreck about it. A close coworker told me that my dm SM says she “doesn’t accept 2 week notices” as the SM usually tells the person trying to quit to “get out because I don’t need you” or let’s them work the rest of the week and kicks them out. I know I shouldn’t care but I’m stressing myself out so much I’m scared to show up

Depends what state you’re in, but keep in mind in certain states you absolutely have the right to walk out that day, but they also may have the right to ask you to leave right away. So if there’s anything you needed to clear up insurance wise, accounts wise, even personal belongings, yada yada, make sure that’s resolved now.
