None of us are thrilled. It's a terrible idea and makes the work environment extremely stressful.
It's an attempt to drive traffic and increase profits during a time where the employees are already struggling with store closures and required self isolation without pay after the first time.

My store is a high volume store that has continued to have similar, if not more transactions than before corona, so Happy Hour is literally hell on earth. My store is also chronically understaffed so I feel like quitting mid shift every happy hour, but I can’t do that to everyone else working happy hour.

At my store we did happy hour and then one of the people who worked that day showed symptoms the next day so every person who worked happy hour has to be off for 14 days to quarantine happy hour just is a TERRIBLE idea during a pandemic 🤦🏼♀️
