Proper way for shots over ice?(self.starbucksbaristas)

It’s shots first, then ice. Example: customers wants 2 shots on ice with 2 pumps vanilla and light cream. You would put vanilla first, then shots, then ice, and top it off with light cream.

That’s what I’d been doing, but then had a Karen yell at me that ice goes first and demanded I remake her drink. “Customer’s always right” 🙄

The ice does go last, so that the ice cubes don’t melt into water when you pour fresh espresso shots on them! It keeps the drinks from turning watery. Hope this helped!

I usually do espresso then ice, but if a customer asks specifically for shots over ice (which a lot do) then I do it that way. If they don’t specify tho I do shots then ice, especially if they get something like white mocha in it which won’t mix well if you do ice first
