Policies on No Ice No Water customer requests (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by 050199
I recently started working at Starbucks after about a year break. My manager told me there is a new policy not allowing customers to order things like pink drinks or teas with “No water, no ice”. Is this true..?

I saw that we now add more water to light ice drinks rather than base or tea, but not sure about this one

The policy is that we fill up the cup with other ingredient aka water or tea or whatever the drink is. It’s was stated in summer 1 release i believe.

So my question was about a “No water + No ice” drink- sorry if that wasnt clear. I’m aware of the current policy but I’m not sure what to do when someone tries to get a trenta cup of our black tea “No water no Ice” or something like that 🤔

You fill up the whole cup with tea

I’d be curious to see this policy. I’ve never seen it and afaik we’re all still letting customers get exactly what they want even if it’s a Trenta sized cup of just refresher base.

If its no ice, half and half, like for refreshers half base then half water/lemonade/coconut milk. No water would just be base and ice and inclusions. Espresso drinks are just milk to the top

This was how it used to work. I am inquiring about the updated policy on it.
