Covid safety??? (self.starbucksbaristas)

I am a shift manager at my store and we currently have 3 shifts and 3 baristas, including myself who has been sent to self quarantine. Our store is remaining open our remaining open our regular hours with reduced coverage, my partners are exhausted! We are told we are staying open because of how much we bring in! Is anyone else experiencing this? I’m frustrated with this who staying open (and happy hour bullshit). We deserve better.

That is very frustrating. As a shift supervisor, you should talk to your sm about concerns and if they don't close and go to your dm or higher if you feel that you and your partners are unsafe and uncomfortable working with the crazy hours and lack of labor

This happened at my store this past week we were running less than half staff all week and then one person in the remaining group got sick and we are down to 4 people.. so we have to close for the next week.. I hate it but also the break is MUCH needed after a week of half the staff and ALLL of the hate from customers about reduced hours 🤦🏼♀️

I’m in the same situation. luckily they closed the lobby and shutdown 30 min early because they’re having to close with 2 people. This is a mess, we don’t even need a negative result at my store to return.
