Hey all. I just hit my one year mark yesterday, and I’ve heard mixed things about raises? I’ve heard from baristas that I should be getting a raise now, but my SM doesn’t seem like she acknowledges it. Are we supposed to get raises at our one year mark?

Usually you only get the annual raise in January or if you’re promoted. I never heard anyone say anything about a one year raise and I definitely didn’t get one

See that’s why I’m confused? When I first had my interview here, the SM was talking about perks, and she mentioned .50 cent raises for working there a year. Which also makes sense as to why other partners have said it. But when asked about it my SM just changed the topic. Good to know she lied to all of us lol

She might have referred the raise to the annual raise which is like around .50 cents or more or she could’ve lied lol

There are no raises at Starbucks unless you promote to shift.
In Jan there is a 2 percent - yes TWO PERCENT - raise given to everyone. It usually is about 20-25 cents per hour.
That's the dark honest truth. Anyone who tells you different is misguided or lying.

Could be that starbucks used to have a raises for every half year a partner hit but then switched it to everyone gets a raise every beginning of the year.

we only get raises once a year sometime in january! everyone gets raises at the same time, regardless of when their year mark was.
