I’m sad to say it’s such a common feeling. It doesn’t matter how much sleep I get, when I wake up I’m tired. It’s cause I’m not physically tired, but emotionally. And so are all the other partners I work with.

Most of us can barely find the will to get to work when we no longer have the COVID pay while our friends are sitting at home getting unemployment checks that are more than what we get for working.

It’s a rough time, and it’s not going to get better for a while longer. Just push yourself through and know there are others out there who feel that too.

I started feeling this way after my fourth month working for starbucks and after my 6th i pretty much gave up on the place. I sent my resignation letter last week and have one shift left. It was all pretty much because of a toxic work environment and decided it wasnt worth it. I lost motivation to be there so called it quits. I have another job now that i love but i do still want to be a barista.

I didn't show up to work my last two shifts since happy hour. Don't really feel bad.
