I second this, plus in drive you’re not spending much time at the window, whereas inside cafe the wait is usually longer and they’re just *breathing on you*. I don’t chitchat with unmasked drivers to lessen air exchange, and I have no shame in closing the window.

Yikes. I’m sorry you’re sick! There’s no way you should be at work. Don’t rule out coworkers, asymptomatic cases are pretty common. I do cringe every time I see our customer counts at 700+ though, thinking of all the opportunity there. Thanks for taking care of yourself, and keeping everyone safe. Hope you feel better!

It’s the standard at my store as well, but if a customer isn’t wearing a mask there’s no good reason to increase my exposure.
