I’ve used it! You just have to show a lease as proof so you’d have to find the place first.

Do it! I was talking to my manager about this specific situation the other day and they said it was a valid reason to apply. I hope you are able to find a way out. You should never have to be tied to someone only because you can't afford to leave. ❤❤

I’ve applied before and received money for damaged windows from a hail storm. It’s a great resource and I’m always grateful they helped. That’s why I always contribute to the fund. I hope you get it and can begin to get out of that situation. Best of luck to you!

I tried it and was rejected twice. For housing help. My younger brother who is 16 did the same thing but he was approved. Without even needing to show any kind of proof he was approved but i wasnt.

Would it be too much to ask for a more detailed experience on what happened? I'm open to private messages.

The very first time i applied it was travel reasons due to college and was rejected and the second time i tried housing amd was still rejected. They didnt ask for any proof of anything so i dont understand why i was rejected since my brother did the same as me and he was approved. Idk what else i can say to this day i never knew why i was rejected.

Ahh, ok. Well thank you! Crossing my fingers that it'll work out for me. And I hope things are working out for you at home too. ♥️
