That’s what ours look like too :( we never put the tongs directly in the rust! If the plastic things are being washed or if we are waiting for new ones I will always put wax paper in the temporarily

The plastic inserts are cheap, just have them order a second set.

Thats a good idea

Ours is a small plastic one. Maybe you can get that so it doesn’t rust

My stores is starting to look like that too. Does anyone happen to know the SKU for a new one?

Yes that’s gross... does anyone ever scrub it out? You could also ask your SM to order a new one

It’s rust. It’s really old. We have a plastic casing that goes over it, but we take it off to wash during close. Most baristas just put it on top of the rust. It doesn’t feel sanitary at all to me

Ours is too, but when we clean it, we put the tongs in a warming bag on the counter or on top of our warming station. Putting them on top of the rust feels definitely like a health hazard 🤢

ya that’s bad. I don’t know like health wise what the risk is, but it can’t be good. If you know who does the order maybe they can add a new one on?

This is what ours looks like too 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ and the plastic inserts are broken so the tongs just go on the rusty metal 😬
