Hey Everyone,
I am sorry if this isn't the right place, but I couldn't find my answer elsewhere. Like most, I have lost my job due to COVID. I am supposed to return back to my original job, but the start date keeps getting pushed back. With unemployment about to end, I am looking for a new job until I can go back to my old one.
I used to work at a "Proudly Brew Starbucks" a few years ago so I thought Starbucks would be an easier transition. However, I am worried about pay.
I was wondering between hourly and tips, do you make decent pay? What do you average per hour/shift. I am located in AZ.

In AZ it’s just over $12. Tips are usually anywhere from $0.50 to $1.00 per hour you work

Hi, az shift supervisor! when i was a barista i made around 12. Tips can range from each location (ie a rich neighborhood will tip more). I’d recommend applying to multiple stores and calling them about a week after your application. We kinda have a hiring freeze right now, but if a store needs the employees they just need approval by the district manager (aka why you should apply to multiple stores).
