pay for quarantine? (self.starbucksbaristas)

hey guys; for some backstory, i had a death in my immediate family a couple of weeks ago, so i had to go to indiana for a funeral; as of today, i have to self quarantine for two weeks, and my store manager is saying that the only way i’ll get paid for that time off is using vacation pay. is this true? or should i be contacting pcc? thanks!

Your SM is right. You will only get paid if you self-isolate due to being exposed (being in long contact with somebody who has it) to the virus or having it.
If you traveled and have to quarantine, you don’t get paid for it.
