Yaaaaa. I twisted my ankle a year ago while on my way to another store to cover. I was at the bus station that I had injured myself at, was making calls to the store and to my SM to make sure everyone was covered, meanwhile my ankle was swelling to the size of a small melon.

The SM that I was covering for was only concerned about when I could get his store keys to him 🙃

My coworkers and fellow Shifts gave me crap about taking 2 months of doctor ordered bed rest and collecting my unemployment. The same coworkers and fellow Shifts that I had covered for multiple times over the past 2 years.

I have since never felt bad about calling out sick.

Me, a year ago

I had 80 hours of vacation saved up for probably a year but now I’m a five-year partner so now I can have more than 80 hours saved up!
