Literally what's the point? We all up in eachother's business anyway, social distancing is *not* possible in an area that small. It's going to slow down production. Drive thru times? What drive thru times.

Bro I legit usually one bar at our store at least on hot bar there is LITERALLY no point. All it does is get in my way when I’m trying to sticker mobile orders, line up my cups and get certain milk. All it’s done is served as an obstacle in which I’ve smacked my head on

Our cafe location gets so screwed on labor that we don’t ever have a planted hot bar or cold bar partner... even during peak. This plexi divider is a nightmare.

Ask your SM about rerouting stickers of they haven't looked into it yet. We changed it so all the hot and espresso based drinks come on one side and all cold Bev on the other.
Hot bar person doesn't budge anymore except to grab hot teas and brewed coffee. For mobile and cafe drinks, we slide it under the Plexi and cold bar calls it out.
Cold bar has *most* of the syrups they'll need already at the blenders and near the iced tea. If they need one from hot bar, they slide it under and ask the hot bar person for it.
It's not perfect but it's helped us quite a lot.

The problem is a lot of stores are so understaffed we can only have 1 bar, let alone that-- even when I'm supposed to be planted bar there's 2 trillion other things I'm doing too

I only work closing and I just move it out of the way. We usually only have one bar barista and are using the two back to back bars so it’s not a huge deal and it helps with the feng shui of the store.

lol we have two at our store bc the first one we threw in the storage closet bc we all refused to use it, said we never got it, got the second one, threw it in the storage closet :)
