Block Scheduling: Unnecessary & Unproductive (self.starbucksbaristas)

Just an extreme inconvenience. I’d understand the concept MAYBE if we were doing a deep clean and sanitizing everything we’ve touched before the next block arrives but that’s not the case.

We should close for business 30 minutes during switch over. Sanitize and reopen. Our customers would loose their minds!!

AND when the blocks switch over, we’ll have like 7 or 8 people crammed in our tiny little bar/register area

Considering that customers don't respect the blocks, the same infected customer could come in and expose all the blocks.

Another great point!

Where I work, the pm block is consistently late so some people from the am block are intermingling for 10 or so minutes. Block scheduling is a JOKE
