i opened today. we changed our hours from 6am to 5:30am so I get to wake up at 4:30. Yay. so here we go.

* around 15 minutes after we opened, we get a call from a woman who's complaining that her mobile order isn't working. we find out it's an app issue so we can't fix it. "well then you're not getting this 60 bucks!" my bar partner says "god i don't want to make a 60 dollar order anyway." unfortunately the lady keeps bitching so my shift gives in and takes her order over the phone. like three minutes later someone is there to pick it up. our drive times go to 8 minutes at 5:50 in the morning.
* as i was filling the dolce topping, my hand slipped when i put the top on and it shattered on the ground. it smelled like cinnamon for the rest of the shift.
* we have one woman come in and say she placed a mobile order. we couldn't find it. she says no problem and she'll figure it out. however she SITS DOWN in our area that has literally more than 5 signs saying "NO SEATING." i call her out (politely) and tell her our seating is closed. jokes on me because she then sent through 8 warming items when i was warming so i guess she got revenge.
* some other lady comes through to pick up a mobile order and decides to help herself to the masks on our temp/sign in table despite the sign that says "PARTNERS ONLY! if you need a mask just ask." i stare at her the entire time and she at least looks guilty as she scurries away.
* these teenagers come up to front with masks on, but when they order they PULL THEM DOWN to talk. i ask them to please wear them and they look chastised and listen. not too bad, but it's the first time i actually asked someone to keep wearing them. before i just dealt with it. but today i was tired and done, lmao.
* i'm bar 1 and my partner is bar 2. there are several cafe customers. our shift, who had been on bar 2 previously, had pulled mobile/cafe stickers and placed them on the machine. partner starts doing the tickets. after a couple gets their drinks, this other lady stomps up to ME, who very obviously did not do the couples drinks and have not touched her drink, and starts complaining that "i ordered before them! why did they get theirs first!!!" and i apologized but also added "i'm not in charge of those drinks, sorry." she looks shocked but surprisingly she doesnt go over to my partner and start yelling at her.
* we have our merch area open again, which i hate but whatever. i watch as this lady takes one of our mugs with the black lids and just drops the lid. it breaks. she stares for a moment, picks it up, and starts trying to put it back together again. when it doesn't work, she glances around and sees me watching so she gestures over to me. however, i'm on dto so i direct her to the front partner. she's very apologetic and kind about it, offering to pay for two lids/cups, i don't know, but our shift says not to worry about it. again, not too bad, but it stuck with me because she really tried to fix it instead of putting it away like no one would see.
* i swear there were like a million orders of tik tok drinks all involving sweet cream cold foam. STOP!! just stop!! im tiredddddd why did yall come up with white mocha and sccf. (note before anyone complains: i enjoy the foam myself, it's just a pain to make especially when you have back to back fraps.) whatever, i guess it's better than the matcha one.
* the line is non stop all day. there's a car at the window every second of my shift. we're so slammed that when i'm put on bar we're completely out of lids and nearly out of cups. no mocha or caramel. one thing of sweet cream. the drive partners aren't restocking at ALL. it's not until another shift comes on that a restock gets done. (another note: no, i dont expect drive to do a full restock or anything. but when DTO doesn't have anyone ordering, they should chip in and help stock a few things. i always try to do so on DTO and it's how i was trained.)
* my shift ends at noon and i made the last two drinks i had wrong so i had to remake them. :( i made two strawberries and cream fraps instead of blended strawberry lemonade lol.

so that was today.

none of these are like the biggest of deals, but i'm going on an 8 day streak with no days off so im stressed akjfsd

i hope tomorrow is better but ALSO it's my last shift before two days off .
