Partners should make complaints about not getting their 10s, but there’s no corporate policy that stops you from taking your lunch first. Starbucks only requires you to take a lunch before your 5th or 6th hour, depending on your state laws. I say this as an opener who only ever take their lunch first.

I would call the ethics and legal number that Starbucks has for this sort of thing. I’m sure they can really help you sort things out.

There are state laws that may say how early into your shift they’re allowed to give you your lunch. For example, in my state, they can’t give you your lunch within the first two hours of your shift; iirc it has to be after at least three or four hours.
If you’re in the states, look up your state labor department’s website if they have one and then search for their meal and break policy information! It may be in there if any laws apply. Good luck, that ought to be a labor violation imo and may be.
