At my store you could write into the book your hours for that week and use it as a way to put in vacation hours.
No guarentee your DM will let you use your sick hours but would definitely call the DM and ask them about the vacation hours.

i would’ve wrote in the book but i was out of town all week and i didn’t get back in time to write my hours in the book.

Ugh, that's a bummer. I mean, if you have to throw your SM under the bus then you have to.

I think you should be able to write it in the book this week and get it next paycheck

i know, but i really needed it to be on the recent paycheck.. i barely got $200 on my paycheck and it won’t last until my next paycheck comes around.

Report him. If your DM doesn’t care call partner resources?

Your SM can do backpay/ retro pay for forgotten vacation hours input. Your SM doesn’t know how to do his job. Call your DM and PRSC.

he really doesn’t.. coincidentally, our new DM visited our store to say hello today. funny how things work out :)

Changing your hours without notice is not ok. Report that to your DM. The standard is that schedules are posted 2 weeks in advance, and the posted schedule is what your accountable for. I always take a photo of that, and refuse to hold anyone accountable for any changes. I tell my SM that's not how it works.

Totally agree. This is completely unacceptable.

yeah i’ve made me up my mind to report him today. i picked up a shift that was 9:30-2 today, but he changed it to 9-1:30 without telling me. and for saturday i was originally scheduled for 1-6:30 but when i checked it got changed to 7:30-12..

Calling your DM will make it happen, it will also have the effect of annoying your SM and getting you paid very quickly. You decide if that's worth it. If you need the money now then do it, if you don't then keep bugging your SM.

You can input your vacation hours in the book as far in advance as the current book allows. I’m pretty sure this current book goes up until mid august. You shouldn’t be surprised if you don’t get paid for your sick hours though.
