is teamwork’s safe? i got this message when i was installing it and i don’t know how i feel about them being able to collect personal data and add restrictions... has anyone had problems or noticed monitoring?(i.redd.it)

The reality is that yes, it is most likely safe, but you also are giving it a fair amount of access to your phone on the off chance it gets compromised.
If you download it, you may notice it deleting and downloading itself with updates and what not. I know it’s a little bit trickier to get rid of the app than just deleting it on your phone, but just a few extra steps.
I personally will never put a work app on my personal device. That’s just a line I’ve drawn.

If you don’t want to download the app you can also just access teamworks through a browser instead.

Half my store refuses to use the app because they're afraid of starbucks spying on them.
I don't think starbucks would because it's too much effort and would be a really bad PR story if it ever came out. I think it's just the lawyers who made them put that in there.

Once downloaded you can delete all the extra apps you use to get to it, and just keep Teamworks. I believe it's the hub app that requires those permissions
