Usually it’s something like doing computer training or doing tips. Basically anything where you’re working on the clock but not out on the floor.

Sometimes it’s also used if your sm doesn’t have enough labor hours to support the needs of the store. So you’d be scheduled for non-coverage so they stay at a certain amount of labor hours, but you might still be on the floor.

Non-coverage means you're not working on the floor. Could be tips, admin, PDC meeting, training, department count, or something like that.
