"Hey, welcome in, what can we get started for you?"
"Can I get a Venti latte with whole milk?"
"Sure, what else for you?"
"Can you like... double the amount of milk you usually put in it?"
"Uh, so a latte is shots and then just milk--"
"No, I know, but I need *twice* the milk you usually put in it."
"So... um, do you want, like, no foam?"
"No, *twice the milk*. Is that hard? The other Starbucks down the road does it for me almost every day."
"Ma'am, double the milk would be two venti cups of milk. Would you like another cup of just steamed milk, like, a steamer?"
"No, I-- You know what? Forget it."
And then she just... left. We had an influx of unsual orders today but this is the one that kept us chuckling through the day. How is "the other Starbucks" duping her?

I feel like they probably just say “yes” and don’t question her - while just giving her a venti latte with whole milk

I texted a partner who works at the closest location to us to see if she knew anything about it, but that's probably it, right?

Maybe just one shot of espresso instead of two? Double the milk-to-espresso *ratio*?

other people order this at my store, but iced, so i just interpret it as “light ice.” no clue what i’d do for a hot one

I would definitely do no foam and subtract a shot, because, like, what else is there to do?
