Our ENTIRE district, neighbor district and neighbor state are out of vanilla syrup because they didnt deliver with any orders.

Pray for us and the Karen's, Becky's, and Chad's that will ultimately kill us.

We ran out one day and it was the worst. People were mostly mad over the smores frappe. Highly recommend just using vb powder and hope they don't notice tbh

I told my sm and ss that I didnt know vanilla went in the s'mores frappuccino. Apparently it's a common problem that people dont taste vanilla in their fraps.. hahah

I had a customer who wanted a McDonalds style caramel macchiato for whatever reason, so I used caramel syrup instead of vanilla. It tastes to me like McDs.

I woke at B&N cafe and our warehouses have been out. It all expired when our stores were closed for quarantine. (bookstores were mandatory closes for most of the country) and apparently they couldn't get it back in stock from Starbucks.

It’s also possible to order things from your favorites that aren’t even on the menu anymore. That’s how we had people ordering Irish cream cold brew into the middle of February. Recently someone put in an order that had “add mango syrup” on it. How long has it been since we’ve even offered that?

god we had this happen probably a month ago. it sucked. people were usually fine with us just using caramel syrup for caramel macchiatos, which was probably the biggest impact. lately our issue has been our truck shipments just NOT having any nonfat milk. we order a bunch and they send us 4 gallons at maximum.

But also hang in. Definitely find you can often get people to try caramel in the caramel macs, classic in some of the other drinks. We went through a shortage early summer so I think it’s going around a bit.

Ours got FedExed to us this morning. I dramatically opened the double box, pulled out a bottle and held it up high, and my entire staff burst into cheers, confusing the single customer in the lobby. It was awesome 😁
