Omg the people who say “hello” the second they get to the box are the worst.

I legit had someone drive thru and drive around again and order at the box and she said she didn’t see where to place her order the first time, I wanted to be like “did you have your eyes closed?” But I just smiled and laughed politely lol

I get the ol' " yeah I thought the order box was broken because no one said anything. Can I order here?" quite often It makes me wanna scream into a pillow because if the order box were to be broken it would be evident with a sign along with it... also since this literally happened to me yesterday it was busy so they definitely heard the other cars who were visibly getting their orders taken. Aahhhhhhh... one of many experiences

i had a man pull up at 4:58 yesterday morning (my store opens at 5) and by the time 5 rolled around, he rolled his window up and when i greeted him, he completely ignored me. i asked him 3 what he would like to order but he kept his window rolled up. finally he pulled around to the window and had the audacity to HONK at me as if i hadn’t asked him to order 3 times 🤦🏻‍♀️

Today omg. This girl orders a simple pink drink and tells me she has 2 orders im like “does this complete your 1st order?” And she says yes and then I give her the total for the 1st and I’m like “proceed with your second order” she has like a whole brain fart maybe my sentence was too complicated but then she just stays quiet for 20 seconds and I’m like “mam proceed with your second order” and she just drives off and I’m like “what?” And then she comes to the window and she’s like “I had a second order” YOU NEVER SAID ANYTHING HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO READ YOUR MIND!! So I took her second order at the window and it was like 3 Frappuccino’s 😪

I used to work a drive through in an affluent community that was full of those mega churches and the Sunday DT rush was the worst. I once had a lady completely ignore me as I repeatedly asked if I could help her so she could finish her phone conversation about that morning’s service for about one whole minute. Doesn’t seem like a long time but when you’re just trying to move the line it’s an eternity.
Also had a lot of people say they “forgot” to order at the box
