Like...how does this make sense? One side doesn’t even have syrup; so you’d have to go to the other side anyway to pump them. This is for the customer’s benefit, and not the barista’s.

Ours is on the ice bin, so I end up shoulder to shoulder scooping ice instead of arms length apart before the guard. Some partners bend and scoop UNDER the guard but I am not effing my back up for this job. To sum it up: it makes no sense.

We took ours down. It was pointless. We are far too understaffed to have 2 baristas on bar, anyways.

We set up ours as a sneeze guard between bar and customers. It's stopped them from reaching over and grabbing cups and lids from our side of the bar.
