Yes but also no. Leaders can’t encourage it (like tips, which we are TOTALLY allowed to accept now, despite previous years training.) If it’s broken, or about to expire, eat it! All my tarbucks team members work so hard, I try and find them a broken cake pop or make them something to sample before a break.

you get no perks beside 10% off from target at my location. And yes you still have to pay for your own drinks and food. I usually see some co-workers take drinks but tbh i don't care, they deserve it. working at the starbucks in target is the WORST. Management at target does not know how to manage the workers and usually there's only one person working per shift despite the fact that we usually have very long lines of customers. Not only that but many of us are undertrained.

We get nothing at our store. We can’t even make our own drinks anymore without getting in trouble.

Lol I’ve never gotten anything for free

When I worked there it was just the one drink, no food. (I would usually just eat something that was going to get thrown away, no one noticed because i was there alone 90% of the time)

At my store everyone got in trouble for taking things. They said because we were all stealing it would just be a conversation but we could have gotten fired.
:( I wish our leads were nicer about it like everyone else who gets a free drink.
