Hello! I’m a former partner who currently doesn’t have a job and has applied to a few different Starbucks locations in my area to try and get back into being a barista, for context I like in Atlanta. I was wondering if y’all have heard anything about the hiring freeze? It’s been a couple of months and I’m starting to get really concerned! Thank you!

Check with every store individually! In my district we resumed hiring at stores that needed it as of last week.

check around the store i just left hired 3 new people last week. so i think it just depends on the area and the need right now. i was told there was a transferring freeze too but i had no problem setting up my transfer out of state last week.

I'm in Colorado and weve hired a few. We also have a few leaving so they may have made some sort of exception so we wouldn't be super short staffed but idk
