how to deal with conflict between baristas is a lot harder than you might expect. as a shift i’ll let you know, the job is a lot easier physically but a lot harder mentally. it’s draining but it’s also really really rewarding.

To be in serious contention for SSV a SM wants to see that you've got a basic mastery of being a barista, you make good connections, you can work POS, bar, etc. That you can give feedback to your peers, and that you're making a positive impact on the store. Be prepared to explain how you're doing those things, and why you want to move up, and ask about what might be different and challenging in the new role.

Thank you so much! My SM was really excited I filled out a form and mentioned to me multiple times I should fill one out so I think she sees that I can all of those things.

I would also ask what their expectations are of you. Not the company ones, those can be found in your approach. What your manager would like to see from you to consider you successful. There is always the company expectations then SM and DM expectations which tend to be different then the approach would have you believe/be interpreted differently.
