You ever try to grab a cake pop stick with tongs? They’re awkward and fall out especially when it’s a full package. Which is why we just grab the stick. It’s more efficient then struggling with the tongs. Same with other pastries. Most of the time we just open the package and tip it into the bag because it’s much faster than trying to get things out with the tongs like the loaves for example do not want to come out with tongs.
