So glad you asked, as I’m training a new partner on it right now! Cold foam is nonfat milk with 2 cold bar pumps of vanilla set in the smaller foaming blender to either 3 or 4, while Vanila sweet cream cold foam is the sweet cream by itself.
A lot of back and forth has gone on about cold foam due to adding vanilla or not. Currently, the standard calls for the vanilla, but down the road it might call for none at all!
If you ever need to check the recipes, go grab a store iPad (assuming your in a corporate store) and hit the app with the Siren on it (Starbucks logo). There are a bunch of recipe cards for most everything in the store with some key exceptions.
