Tall Rant? Idk more like a “wut” moment (self.starbucksbaristas)

Drive thru lady: yeah last time I came to Starbucks they used 300 of my stars and I only wanted them to use 150
Me: oh..did this happen today?
Lady: no
Me: oh okay was it this Starbucks? (Asking because we’ve been training some green beans and I wanna make sure they know how to properly use mobile stuff.)
Lady: no it was a few days ago at X location
Me: ...I see. Well I don’t have the power to give you 150 stars but you can call the mobile app customer service and tell them what happened
After she left I just gave the longest look to my coworker... the lady was nice but it was strange and I’m not sure if she was just trying to get free stars or not.
Me: oh..did this happen today?
Lady: no

Probably not. The registers lag sometimes and it’s easy to accidentally take off two 150 star items if you hit the use 150 button twice. Newer partners might not catch it in the moment.
