Give your manager a letter stating that you’re giving your two weeks notice and when you expect your last day to be. Say that while you appreciate the opportunity, it isn’t working out for you.

You should also make an effort to have a face to face conversation with your manager or speak to them on your phone.

Do not try to give your notice to a shift. They can’t process anything related to your employment status.
