I’m a work comp adjuster. Just based on this post, I would deny your claim. What injury are you claiming? What state are you in? Some states don’t allow just mental claims for work conk, there has to be an associated physical injury.

Your work comp claim will be denied. There is no physical injury. Work comp is for when you get injured at work such as broken leg, twisted arm, etc. In regards to your transfer, the reason for demotion is because they probably don’t have any stores in the new area that need SSVs. You can talk to the DM of a new area and tell them that you can demote, but once SSV spot opens up, you would want to promote again. Or you can just open your availability like PRSC suggested. It’s not really Starbucks’s fault that there is no SSVs spots open that will work with your availability. PRSC didn’t do anything wrong here. They simply gave you options. And like they said, if those options don’t work for you, nobody is forcing you to work at Starbucks.

I’m sorry you are going they rough times. It sucks. I get it. But Starbucks is not responsible for your life. All they can do is offer you different options and it’s up to you to decide what is best for you.
