Working with coffee masters and vets has its perks :( unfortunately getting adequate bar time for a new hire is NOT one of them

I fall into both categories (178 & been a proud black apron for 4 years).... every PDP I put that I want to help develop my green beans. I love watching you guys grow and showing you old school tricks to make your life easier. One girl at my store is starting to be a bar star on my floor when no one would let her do anything but cash before. I let her solo last night while doing paperwork at the hand off and she excelled! It sucks watching other shifts keep green beans away from bar.

Yeah hats off to you! But at my store I’d like to think that it’s not personal since the majority of the time I work it’s always during peak so there’s no time for to help if I wanted to :( :) but I play the cards I’m dealt
