My store is both too and we get two baristas and a shift for closing. And precloser leaves way earlier than close (four or five hours before close before we started block scheduling a few weeks ago). We keep saying one more would help, but SM won't let us have another closer. Dunno if it makes me feel better or worse that even with four, it's a hassle. Lol.

I used to run 3-4 man floors for my closes, and I'm at a high volume DT store.

Maybe change up how you run your close, try to do things differently.
