I love working at a DT only store honestly. It’s pretty easy to keep up with the orders especially on warming because you don’t have to worry about mobiles or cafe orders, same with bar. There aren’t any customers inside so our SM has been pretty loose with the music policy as long as it’s not too far out with profanity/content and doesn’t make partners on the floor uncomfortable. We’ve got a great Spotify playlist for each shift and we’re free to scream into the void whenever.

In terms of actual workload I honestly think it’s pretty easy. There’s no cafe to keep clean, and it’s easy to stay in sequence if you have a well-staffed floor. It was an adjustment when I transferred but you pick pretty quickly. It’s the same job, just less customer interaction.
